Writing and Design Studio

The Writing and Design Studio cohort was proposed and launched by a group of four applicants interested in integrating themes and problems of design into undergraduate writing courses. Each cohort member will implement aspects of design-based teaching within their own course, for a total of five different courses. Examples of these techniques include committed iteration as a writing process, authentic feedback, collaborative community building, and an approach that begins with end users.
